How To: Monetize Your Blog

With Google AdSense

First to monetize means to make it able to make money, and there are many ways to monetize your blog. Google makes it easy to monetize your blog using AdSense. AdSense is Google's own Advertising tool. AdSense will read your posts and then apply relevant ads to the Blog where you tell it to. I have devised a step by step guide to help you use Google AdSense to Monetize your blogspot blog.

1. First you will want to click on the monetize tab on the blogger dashboard.

2. Next you will Check the box that say's "Don't add new ads. Just enable AdSense reporting"

3. I am assuming you don't have a AdSense account yet. click the create a new AdSense account button.

4. Fill out the forms in the way you are directed. You will need to be 18 or have an adult do it for you.

5. The easiest way to place ads into blogger is to go to the Design tab on the dashboard, and click on it.

6. Click on the Add a Gadget button.

7. Choose the AdSense gadget, set it to your specifications, and click save.

Congratulations, you have just successfully completed setting up. and using AdSense.

Now Using Amazon Associates is a little bit harder to Understand. However the setup time is shorter. You will probably make more money off of your Amazon Associates account than your AdSense account, However it is more complicated.

1. First you will go to the monetize tab like you did with AdSense.

2. Next you will see, just under the monetize tab, a Amazon Associates link that should look like this.

3. You will choose I Want to Create a new Associates ID, and then click Setup Amazon Associates.

4. Enter your email address and password if you already have an Amazon ID. If not you will need to create an Amazon ID at Amazon's homepage under the signup link.

5. Sign in and click submit

6. Fill out all the forms as directed, and Submit.

7. Enter your websites information, this help Amazon know who is coming from your website.

8. Finally configure you settings, and you are home free. Amazon has a very good step by step guide for putting their ads on your webpage.

  1. I have been browsing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting
article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me.
Personally, if all website owners and bloggers made good
content as you did, the internet will be a lot more useful than ever before.
