The Book Thief, By Markus Zusak
The Book Thief is a book narrated by Death. While this makes the book semi interesting, it also makes it rather dark. The book thief is a German girl named Liesel, who steals books. The book has almost nothing to do with the title. Most of the book is a day by day account of German life during WWII. While this makes the book interesting at first, 552 pages gets to be a drag. The book is interesting for the first several hundred pages, after that however, I suggest that you put the book down and go get another.
